What's the damage every time you guys go and drink at the pub? Do you guys just drink beer?

only beer ...... but that's only cos I don't want to damage my liver more ....

hisoka SG

i'm freaking pissed about the stupid electricity hike. How can they base it on some nonsense projected huge increase when the prices have been going down.

not only that, if what was posted in the thread was true. most of the electricity isn't even made using crude oil.........

不如就死 SG

i prefer to drink other stuff.. like martini.. or apricot brandy .. or cocktails ... beer would be my last choice.. or if i feel like having an ang moh liang teh ..

hisoka SG

you're allergic to beer......

fudgester SG

oh well ... tomorrow our goverment ang pao arrives in the bank too eh ? .....

how much you guys getting ? .....

I think mine's like $150 or so ..... or about 1.5 beer sessions ...

I'm getting $275.

But then again..... I think I'm going to have to start giving out green paos to my little brats... I mean, nephews and nieces.

Good on you. I hope you guys don't drive after drinking....

I sometimes go to the pub with my colleagues/friends and you can see how much money can disappear in half an hour...... I'd rather spend the money on food.

SevenEleven SG

okie ... you're the bigger boys ....

I guess it's my own fault as well .... I like to do the background research and pick up on penny stocks like lorenzo ....

with my budget I don't play blue chips..... but we all get shafted all the same ..... this is money I can ill afford right now ..... -_-

that's why beer's good ......

when you sit around and talk, there's this tendency to reach out and sip regularly ... other stuff disappears pretty fast by sips .... a pint of beer lasts longer .....
